For me, this is just what poetry does. It is all about playing with words, and painting a picture with them, either for fun or to get serious. It makes you look deeper than the surface, and to use language to help others see the same too.
I have tried to make this website appeal to primary school teachers, children, and to those who, like me, simply enjoy reading and/or writing poetry, especially children's poems. Choose the page from the menu bar at the top which is most appropriate to you, and enjoy!
